Parenthood Simplified with Bratpack Bags

“Ditch the Stuff, Hold Your Kid!”

I love packing and unpacking and being all kinds of prepared when it comes to leaving the house with my son. I am the first to swoon over a huge diaper bag with a hundred pockets! Some might call me a bag lady, but it’s a title I’ll accept happily. I was never a huge purse lover. Keeping it simple with purses has always been how I roll. Now that I am a mom, I’ll take ALL the bags.

Not necessarily purses, because I can wear the same simple over the shoulder purse until it falls apart. Diaper bags, travel bags, backpacks, etc, are what call my name these days.

Versatility is also important to me. I love our small backpack from Wildkin for trips to the zoo or play dates, but our larger bag from Kiko Miami is perfect for longer trips or overnights.

I was sent a Bratpack to review after adding it to my Unique Christmas List for Dads. They looked pretty cool…simple but functional! When it arrived last week, I was so impressed! On the Bratpack website you will see the features of the product and great photos, but I feel like it’s even cooler in person.

This ‘clutch’ style “diaper bag” is perfect for a quick outing to the store or like us, for walking around a junk yard! My husband was excited to model the Bratpack for me because it’s not girly or bulky. It’s lightweight yet sturdy and incredibly well made.

The Bratpack is compact and is made to stay that way even when you fill it with the essentials. The Bratpack unfolds into the perfect changing surface. A smaller flap lifts up to expose a pocket for diapers and one for wipes. There is also a water resistant zipper pouch that would be perfect for any creams or small items you need to bring. When you have it folded up, there is another small zipper pocket that you can use to store your phone, a pacifier, or another small necessity. There is even a stretchy bit of fabric made to hold very small baby bottles! If your babe isn’t using a bottle or has outgrown the tiny ones, you can get creative and use it for a number of other things!

My son’s diapers poke out the end a little bit but he is in size fives. I think anything smaller than that would fit perfectly! Even with them poking out, I can shove them in and it still closes up just fine. One of my favorite features is the ultra stretchy material that holds the top and side flaps on. It makes it easy to close no matter how much stuff you need to take with you. There is a clip attached to the top that is perfect for attaching the Bratpack to your jeans/stroller/purse/bike/etc.

On the back of the Bratpack is an elastic band so you can easily carry it! (Or attach it to something…you can get creative)!

To be completely honest, I thought these looked simple upon first glance. After getting my own, I was seriously impressed! These would make a great gift for a first time mom or dad who isn’t interested in carrying around a huge bag full of baby gear all the time! It’s also great for active people who love to be outdoors. These Bratpack bags are super sturdy and would hold up really well on a long hike or bike ride.
