Leopold starts “school” in just a couple of weeks and I’m equal parts excited and nervous! He will be going to nature preschool!
Back to school supplies for nature preschool look a little different than your typical school! Here are just a few of the things we have gotten to prepare Leopold for his first experience with preschool.
The items featured in this post were gifted to us in exchange for this review. My opinions are 100% honest and my own, as usual! Thanks to all of the brands who contributed!
This boy LOVES playing outside. He claims to love being hot (he’s nuts!) and could play outside for hours. Leopold is as happy as a clam just to have some dirt, water, sticks and rocks to play with, so I knew nature school was a perfect fit for him.
Since he will be outdoors most of the morning, he needed some good rain gear! Oaki sent us a rain suit and these sweet rain boots and Leopold absolutely loves them!
The suit fits well and isn’t too big or small. I think it should last him the whole year unless he hits a huge growth spurt!
We have some other Oaki boots that Leopold has worn for the last year and loves, so I was thrilled to get an updated pair. These are a European style that have more flexibility which makes it easier to explore nature and feel the ground beneath your feet.
We are supposed to pack a change of clothes or two…can you see why? He will go to preschool with regular shoes, rain boots, slippers (to wear in the classroom) and an additional pair to wear home. I’ll probably just keep a spare pair in the car instead of sending it in the school with him each day.
Here’s a little visual of what I’m going to send each day (some will stay at school).
The slippers are from Target!! We just got them so they probably still have some in stock if you’re looking for some. His flip flops are also some I picked up at Target.
Leopold will need to pack a towel each day…for obvious reasons. Also there is a mud kitchen that he’s really looking forward to.
Stuck on You provided us with a ton of back to school supplies that will come in handy! The bag tag, multi use labels, shoe labels, lunch box and bento box are all from Stuck on You. I am so ready to label EVERYTHING.
He will need a snack and lunch each day, so I’ll send his large and small bento boxes most days!
