Another week, another set of meals!
We have been trying to eat more ‘real’ food around our house for the past few months. Some days are better than others, but we have been making progress. With the new year comes new goals, and new opportunities to start fresh.
I just bought a ton of fruits and veggies from Aldi and I’m going to see how healthy we can all eat this week! Typically, at dinner time we all eat the same thing. So if Leopold is eating healthy, we all are!
Most of Leopold’s dishes come from Replay Recycled and after months of use, we are still LOVING them!
A few times, I took both a before and an after photo so you guys can see exactly what he IS eating vs what doesn’t get touched. We try to encourage him to try a little of everything, but we don’t force him to. He is usually pretty good about taking a ‘no thank you bite’.
This meal was his Christmas morning breakfast, so it’s a little special!
Pork loin, sweet potato mash, asparagus and carrots, and watermelon and blueberries
Turkey and cheese wrap on spinach tortilla, veggies and ranch, and watermelon with cuties (dip cups from Lollaland)
BBQ pulled chicken, potato pancakes, corn, and cornbread
Spaghetti with meatballs and broccoli with carrots
Buttered whole grain waffles with a banana
Baked Salmon with Uncle Ben’s Flavor infusions rice and asparagus with sweet potato (he got BBQ sauce for dipping)
