If you’re looking for a carrier that does it all, the Ergo Omni 360 will suit your needs!
This new carrier by Ergo Baby will cater to any position you wish to wear your baby in. Some babies don’t like to miss out, and refuse to be carried in the ‘traditional’ way. The Ergo 360 has your back! Baby can forward face easily and comfortably. They can also face you, be carried on your back, or on your hip if that’s more comfortable for you.
I have Leopold in the ‘standard’ position but when we wear (which we rarely do these days), I usually wear him on my back. I find that it’s easier to do just about anything without him all up in my face. Not that I don’t love having him up front, but I’ve already got a lot of goodies up there taking up space!
I got this carrier to review a while ago and kept putting of the review because it was just so darn hot for so long. I am already hot natured, and baby wearing a wiggly toddler was not my idea of fun!
To be completely up front with you guys, this carrier isn’t my favorite out of the ones I’ve tried so far. I prefer a floppy SSC (soft structured carrier). This seems to be a bit stiff, although I’m sure it would break in and get floppier the more you use it.
I do like that it has a removable zippered pouch and lumbar support. It’s pretty great that you can use it from newborn all the way to 36 months. I don’t have a ton of money to be buying new carriers every time my kid gains 5 pounds, you know?
I was sent the khaki green, and it’s not the prettiest color ever. It would be great if you’re trying to convince dad to baby wear though! They do have three other color options however, and you can check them out on Ergo’s website.
I think I would have to give this carrier in particular a 5 out of 10. That’s just for me, personally. I would suggest trying on a variety of carriers to find one that fits your style. I prefer more simple carriers, like my original Ergo.
It was so comfortable and never once hurt my back. That Ergo did exactly what I needed it to do and wasn’t super complicated either. The only reason I bought a different one was because I found one that was the perfect print.
One of the best inventions ever …. baby carriers! Although my kids are older now I sure did love this one when they were little. So much easier than lugging the stroller out. I will keep this in mind for a few upcoming baby showers I have to attend!
It is unbelievably easier! Especially for the clingy babies! Mine is obsessed with his stroller now, though…LOL
These are great thoughts about the baby carrier! I loved using the baby carrier when my daughter was younger (she’s 14 months now). There were a few times when I put her in the carrier just so I could get some things done around the house! We have the Baby Bjorn Original and the one downside is lack of lumbar support. My back gets sore after awhile, especially as my daughter grew! This looks like it would be comfortable for your lower back!
Oh yeah I always see the original Bjorns and think they look uncomfortable because people wear them so low and baby’s legs aren’t in a good position (The M shape) I am not a fan of that brand for carriers! The ergo (at least my original one that I used all the time) never bothered my back a bit!
We have used so many baby carriers, but this is on my list of must tries! I have heard amazing things about it, and my babies have all loved the outward carry!
Leopold wasn’t a fan of facing out when I tried it in my Lillebaby 360! I guess he was used to being all up in my space lol
Love this carrier. We had one when our little one was still carry size. She went EVERYWHERE with us … and loved it.
It’s perfect for keeping your babies close!!
I loved ergo when I first started babywearing, it was so easy to use.
They are such a great brand!
Have heard the best things about Ergo! Recommend them to all my friends. Thanks for the great review!
They really are great a great brand!
