*Sponsored Post! I received a Munchie Mug in return for my honest opinion and review*
A few months back I was on a playdate at a friend’s house who has a little boy who is a couple months younger than Leopold. While we were playing she pulled out his snack cup. This was the first time I had ever seen a ‘Munchie Mug’ as she called it.
It was definitely the coolest snack holder I had ever come across! Ever since that day I’ve had the Munchie Mug in the back of my mind. I knew I wanted one for Leopold but, ever the procrastinator, I kept putting off ordering one.
Since I’ve started my blog, I am on the lookout for cool products for toddlers even more than I already was. I love sharing things that I find in hopes that it will help another mama to make life a little easier.
I spoke with the folks over at Munchie Mug and they were so nice! They offered to send me a Munchie Mug to try out and they have agreed to send another out to the winner of our upcoming giveaway! (So stay tuned, folks)
We got our blue, 16oz Munchie Mug in the mail last week and my kid has been obsessed with it ever since!
I love how large it is. They come in two sizes, 12 and 16 oz. I love the larger size because it holds the perfect amount of snack for my son and the little girl I nanny (E) to share.
There is a really convenient handle on the lid which makes it easy for Leopold to carry around. He only carries it that way half the time though, he loves to cradle it in his arms like a teddy bear. He loves his food just like his mama does!
We also have a regular, 3.99 snack cup made by munchkin. We used this for a while but really it was just a vessel. Honestly the fact that they label it as ‘spill proof’ is such a joke. I’m sure other mamas can attest to that after finding a hundred cheerios strewn all over the backseat of the car.
With the Munchie Mug, the ‘spill proof’ claim really is true! The snacks are protected by two stretchy fabric flaps that are overlapping. It is really easy for baby to get their hand in and out without bringing all the cheerios with them. Leopold can turn it upside down and shake until his little arms give out before any snacks sneak out.
It comes with a completely sealed lid so that you can keep uneaten snacks fresh until you go out again. We haven’t needed this part yet because my child usually makes his snacks disappear pretty quickly. Especially when he has to share with E!
I love using the lil’ sidekick to attach the Munchie Mug to my Kinderpack, the stroller, or high chair. The large handle on the lid makes it really easy!
If you’re as tired of ‘spill proof’ snack cup messes as I was, you will LOVE the Munchie Mug. I’m so glad we have one (finally!).
