(Look at this photo. It could have been so much cuter if I wasn’t using a junk phone!)
Taking a good photo with my smart phone is really the main thing I use the phone for. A while back I made the mistake of buying a shiny new phone with no insurance and a really complicated screen situation (Galaxy Edge, anyone?). The phone suffered an unfortunate accident (no fault of my own, of course) and then slowly began the descent into being a useless piece of technology. Repairs are far beyond what I have available so I have been using a 100$ ‘burner phone’ as I like to call it and the camera rivals that of flip phones from 2004. It’s not great. And as a mama who loves nothing more than to get that perfect action shot of my kid doing his newest fascinating trick, I’m constantly frustrated with the dumb thing. To top it all off, tonight I dropped it flat on it’s screen and it’s shattered into oblivion. It’s still working but just makes me dislike it even more.
What is the most important feature of your smart phone to you? I loved my Edge so much because the camera was amazing and that was the most valuable thing to me! I just really hate that it is so incredibly difficult to get them repaired. Get with it, Cell repair shops!
Until I can get my phone fixed I’m going to try to use my Nikon D5000 more and take ‘real’ pictures. Hopefully this doesn’t prove too difficult since it’s MASSIVE compared to my ‘little’ smart phone. I can not live with these low quality, blurry, sad looking photos of my baby growing up right before my eyes. It’s especially difficult when I have to chase after him with it swinging from my neck! Here goes nothing!! Anyone know of a great (fairly user friendly) photo editing software I can use for editing?
Greetings! Very helpful advice in this particular post!
It is the little changes that make the greatest changes.
