Tiny babies may not necessarily NEED holiday gifts, but it is still fun to celebrate with the newest members of the family! Especially if there are older siblings who may question why Santa didn’t bring the baby anything. I’m sharing some fun ideas with you again this year! You can check out last year’s list HERE for additional ideas. This year is a lot more fun for me because I actually have a baby that I’ll be shopping for.
These toys are great stocking stuffers!! I love how soft they are and babies will love the high contrast colors!! The paci clip is a great addition to our collection because it’s sturdy and matches anything!
We received a very special and personalized flamingo lovey from Remi and Mi and it’s probably my FAVORITE out of all Finley’s stuffed animals. It’s incredibly well made, very snuggly and soft, and it was made just for us, not mass produced. The owner of this shop creates both custom works as well as small batches of creatures she’s come up with herself! You can personalize them by color, material, and even how much stuffing goes inside. Make sure you follow her on Instagram to get updates on the cutest creatures, and take part in giveaways from time to time!
Lil jammerz bluetooth speakers
I came across these toys on Instagram while I was brainstorming ideas and absolutely love the idea! These would make a great gift for any age baby. Two make noises when shaken, and the third is actually a bluetooth speaker! This would be perfect for long walks around the neighborhood, or car rides!
Motor skills hedgehog from Learning Resources
This particular toy is better suited for older babies (It says 18months and up on the box) but Leopold’s motor skills were really great at 12 months so I figured I would grab this for Finley for Christmas and Leopold can teach her how it works when the time comes!
This cream is PERFECT for our family. There are no yucky ingredients and it’s hypoallergenic. It’s not just for diaper rash either, use it on any rash, eczema, even bug bites! My toddler uses it more often than the baby because any time he gets a scrape or a bite or is itchy he requests ‘cream’ be put on it. I don’t have to worry about how much of this I apply to his sensitive skin!
We use our Whisbear EVERY NIGHT. The Whisbear emits a static like white noise for 40 minutes before automatically shutting off. If baby wakes up fussy during the night, the Whisbear will sense the noise and turn back on for an additional 40 minutes before fading out slowly. It’s great for nightly use or even during travel. There are magnets in the legs to attach it to crib rails, car seats or strollers. The colors are stimulating for baby as well, along with the crinkly sounds it makes when grasped!
There are many great teethers out there right now! Here’s a list of some of my favorites!
The Chew from Doodle and Company
Mam Oral care bunny (Not exactly a teether…it’s meant to help clean out baby’s mouth and gums. You could freeze it to help soothe those sore gums though!)
Finley will be getting one of these for Christmas this year! I can’t wait to see her snuggle with this super soft pacifier blanket/lovey from Sweet Ruby Co! Great for nap time snuggles or on the go, and it will hold a paci, or attach to a stroller or shopping cart to keep it from getting dropped or lost.
Pretty much anything from Wee Gallery
We have a milestone photo album that was gifted to us from Quarto Kids publishing, and Finley has some of their baby art cards that she loves to look at during tummy time! I love SO MUCH of their stuff on the website that I couldn’t pick just one or two things. I love the designs and the high contrast colors that babies also seem to enjoy.
I have no personal experience with the Lulla Doll but I’ve heard amazing things about it’s ability to help babies get to sleep! I may have to add this to our own Christmas list!
This may sound like it’s more for mom than baby but these covers are the SOFTEST ever! I have two now and I wish they were bigger so I could snuggle them! I use them for car seat covers, nursing covers, and even little lightweight blankets. They are also great for shopping cart covers when the time comes!
Stroller Caddy from BBox for Kids
Nothing wrong with getting a few ‘needed’ items for baby when they are this young! This stroller caddy is a life saver and it’s a brand new product from Bbox for kids! This caddy has space for everything you could need, and even a mesh bag attachment when you need just a little extra space. It’s SO much easier than lugging the entire diaper bag around on short trips and errands!
We have gotten two issues of the Highlights baby magazine so far and it’s such a fun little book! It is made of durable materials and it’s small and easy for little hands to hold. The concepts are educational and simple and the colors and pictures/illustrations are bright and fun. This would be a great gift to send someone who lives far away! It’s only $9.99 for three issues!
Clever Publishing mini board books
Babies love these tiny books!
I have a ton of favorite small shops that I’ve found on Instagram. Some of these I’ve collaborated with, some are ones I haven’t purchased from YET but drool over, and some are ones I’ve already shopped at. I love shopping small and at the very least, supporting these lovely handmade (by moms!) goodies by sharing them with you.
Little Ella Rae (Bows) – Our favorite bow shop!
Orchid James Handmade– The cutest turbans, head wraps, and bummies for your little girls!
Lil Wild Ones– a little bit of everything!
Baby Love Knots– Sweet baby turbans for little girls! We LOVE ours from here!
Polished Prints Tees– The cutest tees that promote love and positivity for moms, dads and babies alike!
Canyon Leaf Amber necklace– I bought one for Leopold that we will use for Finley and it’s the prettiest amber necklace ever!
Mojo Jean Craft distressed jeans– Mojo Jean Craft sent us a couple pair of her hand distressed jeans and they are SO cute!! I can’t wait to do some photo shoots with these jeans!
Zutano Booties– We are still watiting to recieve our booties from Zutano (I will update this when we get them!) but rumor has it these are the only booties out there that ACTUALLY stay on baby’s foot! They look so cozy, too!
Pediped shoes-These shoes are great for early walkers because the sole is both flexible and supportive! Not to mention they are super cute!
Ergo pouch sleep sack– We are currently using the sleep sack for tiny babies but we will soon move up to the sleep suit bag for the cooler months! It works as a sleep sack but you can zip it up to create a sleep suit they can walk in!
Joyfully Stitched bonnet– I got an etsy gift card, and after much deliberating, finally bought Finley a bonnet with it. Best decision ever! It’s SO cute! I now want to buy all the bonnets in this shop!
I hope this post has given you some insight without being overwhelming! I get very excited when it comes to all things baby! If you are looking for a gift for a toddler as well, head over to my most recent gift list for toddlers! You can also check out last year’s lists for babies and toddlers.
