We moved into our current house last February…so…almost a year ago. To this day, the walls are still more bare than I like to admit. I have good intentions to paint almost every room, and so far we have done our bathroom and Leopold’s room. I can’t convince myself to hang up a bunch of photos if I’m just going to have to take them down again to paint (especially in places I want to use command strips).
My next big project is our bedroom. It’s currently painted a very bland eggshell type white color. It is almost the same (maybe exactly the same) color as the trim paint. Part of me feels like I’m living in an unfinished space! We have two shelves mounted on the wall, and that’s the extent of it.
I was really excited when Photowall reached out to me and wanted to send me a canvas print!
As tempting as their cute wallpapers were, I decided to get a canvas print to hang in our bedroom. We don’t have a lot of photos of ourselves hanging up, and I’m trying to change that! I ordered a pretty large size. Big enough to fit perfectly over our headboard! It’s a photo from our wedding day that I love! I LOVE canvas. It just feels so classy!
I was a little nervous about the quality of the photo, considering I was getting it printed so large, but it is SO clear. My friend Allison from Little Big Blessings ordered a canvas print from them that she edited ON INSTAGRAM and it came out amazing! So there is nothing to worry about as far as blurry or pixel-y prints when ordering from Photowall.
It also got to me in a very short amount of time! I ordered in late December and I think it took about three days to arrive…from Sweden. That’s some impressive customer service right there!
When our canvas photo came, I was slightly intimidated by the assembly instructions and all of the pieces. Your print comes rolled up nice a tight with a protective sheet of paper around it. Once I pulled all the parts out of the box, this was what I was working with:
It’s not a TON of parts, but I’m not very handy. Since we haven’t painted yet, I set it all aside, thinking I would be painting that weekend.
Well, ever the procrastinators, we haven’t painted yet. I will be sure to post a photo of it when it’s hung in my room once that’s done!
I was slightly confused by the instructions (like I said, I’m just not good at this kind of thing) so I went on their website and found a super helpful instructional video that cleared everything up.
It took me all of 10-15 minutes to get it assembled, and it looks like a professional did it! I was super impressed and now I really want to order more prints from them!
