Last Spring I pulled together a list of Easter Basket Ideas that turned out rather well. With the holidays fast approaching I thought it might be a good idea to make a few new lists! Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or just know someone with a December birthday, these lists are sure to help!
I’ve been searching for great gifts for the past few months. A few of these are also affiliate links or are products that were gifted to me to review at some time or another. Everything you see here represents gifts that I truly think a baby would love, and all opinions are my own! See my full disclaimer here.
I’m really trying to stick to buying ‘Something they want, something they need, something they wear and something to read’ this Christmas so that’s how I’m going to set up my lists!
Something they want:
I’m seriously obsessed with these lovely loveys! Seeing photos of babies sleeping all snuggled up with a Slumberkin just melts me. These are mentioned on my toddler list but are a front runner on my baby list because your baby will have more time to form a healthy attachment with one! These would be a great tool to use if YOU are your baby’s comfort item and you may be trying to get baby in their own bed or maybe to stop nursing.
A gift from Petit Collage
These would honestly be great for toddlers too but if you’re looking for a well made, cute toy for your baby, check out the shop at Petit Collage!
A teether from Cactus Blossom
My friend over at Cactus Blossom makes the cutest teethers, rattles and key chains for teething babies! This would be great by itself or as a stocking stuffer!
A Blanket from Cozys
We have yet to get our hands on one of these jersey blankets from Cozys but they look SO soft! They would be perfect for snuggling or swaddling!
Black and white cards to stimulate baby’s brain
Leopold’s favorite book as a baby was one that was all in black and white. He was endlessly entertained by it! I found these cool cards from Gigglespots that would look awesome in a nursery and double as infant entertainment!
Something they need:
Crib Sheets from Rookie Humans
The sheets over at Rookie Humans are the cutest!! Perfect for snapping photos of sleeping babies and perfect for a first Christmas gift.
Rookie Humans crib sheets
Tiny Moments Pillow
This adorable bear pillow helps prevent flat head syndrome while keeping baby comfy! (I don’t recommend using this overnight)
Tent from BBLuv
These tents are super cute and portable so baby can stretch out and play in the shade wherever you go!
If you’re sending baby off to daycare or headed to play groups, it’s always good to have everything labeled! Inchbug labels have always stood out to me because they are affordable and easy to use!
This diaper caddy from EliKai Designs is so trendy and cute, and look at all of those compartments! This would be a great Christmas gift for your own baby or even a shower gift for someone else! You could use this caddy as the gift bag and fill it with all sorts of goodies.
Something to wear:
Hat by NOXX
I’ve always admired these beanies by NOXX! They are super cute and look so comfy.
An outfit from Tea Collection
The shirts we have from Tea and SO cute and soft!
Enter to Win: Tea’s Perfect Holiday Sweepstakes
These PJ’s from ZippyJams are cute, comfy, and the best part? They have a zipper under baby’s bum so that you don’t have to completely undress them for those middle of the night diaper changes!
I still have to see for myself but this mama of two created the Softsie line claiming they have the SOFTEST clothes around! They look pretty darn cute too…what’s not to love?
A Onesie from Simply Spoiled
This Arizona mama makes the cutest tees and onesies for babies up to 24 months! I’m obsessed with the cute font she uses and my personal favorite is the ‘Hangry’ design. Check out her shop HERE.
A colorful outfit from Biddle and Bop
We were sent the cutest pair of leggings from Jessica at Biddle and Bop and Leopold LOVES wearing them! She has stuff for babies all the way up to bigger kids, so you definitely want to check out all the site has to offer!
